Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering department of 35+ engineers across Cloud, Mobile App, Ui/Ux developers and embedded Software & Hardware Architects/leads/Engineering Managers in developing state of the art IoT Products and IoT mobile and cloud apps for the US consumer Market.
  • Responsible for the complete Engineering department involved in the Hardware/Software, Mobile and Web Applications design and development.
  • Hire, mentor and manage a team of Architects/Leads and launch state of the art IoT products and Mobile/Web Cloud apps into high volume deployment.
  • Contribute to and enforce the organizational best practices/policies within the embedded team
  • Co-ordinate with Product Management, Product marketing, Business Development, Industrial Design, QA and production teams in the development, testing and mass production of the IoT products/Mobile-Web Apps.
  • Practise a customer first, Minimum Viable Product (MVP ) iterative approach to product development.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • BE/ME ( CSE/ECE/EEE ) Degree from an accredited/reputed institution.
  • At least 12+ years of hands-on eexperience in leading an engineering department of at least 25+ members in the IoT/Cloud/Consumer/Mobile App products Industry.
  • Proficient in designing/launching Wireless or IoT Products/Mobile Apps for high volume production/customer base.
  • Experience in launching mobile/web applications for large scale deployment supporting 100K+ customers.
  • Hands on experience in hardware/firmware and application development of systems using sensors, Cellular (3G/4G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (BLE) connectivity modules.
  • Excellent team player and problem solver with a high level of self-motivation and initiatives.
  • Experience in Cross Disciplinary co-ordination with related teams such as Industrial Design, Mechanical Design , Marketing, Testing and production teams a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation Package
